S3S protection with increased recycled content

Every recycled component used saves resources, reduces waste, and demonstrates that sustainability is possible even in everyday work: The THUNDER XXSW black-blue Low ESD S3S is a safety shoe that combines sophisticated technology with responsible material selection. The upper is made of hydrophobic textile with recycled content, preventing water and dirt from penetrating. The textile lining, also containing recycled content, is exceptionally breathable. Without this feature, moisture would worsen the internal climate and lead to unpleasant side effects such as blisters and odor. The carbon fiber toe cap protects the forefoot from impacts and pressure, while being significantly lighter than steel. The midsole is particularly innovative: It combines an open Infinergy® module from BASF in the heel area with Supercritical Foam. Infinergy® is an expanded TPU with high rebound. Supercritical Foam complements the system with an extremely fine-pored, shock-absorbing structure. Thanks to this combination, cushioning is highly effective, and the impact on hard floors is significantly reduced. The metal-free penetration-resistant midsole protects against nails and sharp objects. The rubber outsole provides abrasion resistance and slip resistance – essential for a secure grip. And the ESD capability protects sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge.

The safety shoe, which is SR-, FO- and HRO-certified, is available in sizes 36 to 48.
